If you have a Snap Ride sticker, make sure it is clearly visible on the rear right side of your rear window when you are active and accepting trips. A driver faces a fine as per law, if he or she fails to display sticker.
If you have a Snap Ride sticker, it is necessary to visibly show it when you are online and taking rides; it must be positioned in a location where it cannot be removed by someone sitting in the driver’s seat of the car. As an example, consider the rear passenger window on the other side of the car from the driver’s seat. If you do not have a Snap Ride sticker, you may display a CPV sign. Drivers who fail to display a Snap Ride Sticker or a CPV sign and fail to identify the vehicle is a commercial passenger vehicle (CPV) or if the signage is in the improper place you will be fined as per law.
If you have a Snap Ride sticker, make sure it is clearly visible on the bottom right side of your rear window when you are online and accepting rides. You may also use your blue PV sign if you do not have a Snap Ride sticker, which is available through DPTI.
When you’re online and taking rides, your Snap Ride sticker must be visible on the passenger’s side (left side) of the front windscreen. A motorist faces a fine for failing to display a sticker.
When you’re online and accepting rides, the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads (DTMR) requires you to display Snap Ride stickers in the bottom left-hand corner of your rear and front windscreens. A driver who fails to display a sticker faces a fine. An authorised sign must be posted if your vehicle is equipped with an approved security camera system. When you’re online and accepting rides, the Department of Transportation (DoT) requires Snap Ride stickers to be placed in the back windshield of your registered car as of July 1, 2019. Depending on the circumstances, an on-the-spot fine may be imposed. Failure to present the proper signs is one example (sticker). A current approved CVL label is to be affixed on the front windscreen, passenger side, bottom corner and must be fitted outside of any glazing tint band. The fitted label is to be located so that any information on the label can be easily viewed by a person standing outside of the vehicle.
After onboarding, please wait 7-14 business days for the Snap Ride sticker to arrive at your mailing address.
